So this is my first "go" at a blog, and I'm armed with my wine glass in hand (there will be a lot of that I'm sure. I think I'll have to come up with a hash tag or something clever).

I've always thought about blogging---well---I've always thought about a lot of things, but it was my discovery and admiration of a blog created by a good friend's sister that pushed me over the edge this weekend. (Naptimedecorator.blogspot.com - shout out to the Grochmals!)

Speaking of shout outs, I can't take credit for this name either. My newest best friend (she'll love me for saying that BTW) came up with it when she was simultaneously filled with Joy & Jealousy at my latest home creation...though her definition of "Bee" was a bit more derogatory.

So this is the result. A potentially witty, partially bragging, preferredly helpful account of my escapades with Pinterest, home decorating, renovation, and newly married life. I'd say expect lots of before and afters, gift ideas, and cheap DIY projects...maybe some wine recommendations too (Hey,  home ownership is hard!!!! And I don't even have kids yet....Good Lord.)

So my glass is almost gone, and the hub went to bed, so I guess this post is past retirement too. I have to say I'm excited for the first "real" post. I'm debating over mason jar solar lights, scrapbook paper light switch covers, or fun withthe reciprocating saw. I'd like to ask for votes, but I'm not really sure who I'm asking yet...haha?
